About this place

The University of Leicester's Harold Martin Botanic Garden is a 16-acre teaching garden in Oadby, on the edge of Leicester. Its conifer plantings include a giant sequoia at the western end of the Cedar Grove, and a dawn redwood, the species known only from fossils until living trees were found in China in 1941. Free to enter.
