About this place

Scotland's national botanic garden in Inverleith, north Edinburgh, with a living collection spanning four sites. At the Edinburgh garden a cathedral-like circle of giant redwoods planted in the 1920s was renamed the John Muir Grove in 1990, while coast redwoods grow in the Upper Woodland Garden and dawn redwoods feature among the collection. Entry to the garden grounds is free, though the glasshouses are ticketed.
