About this place

Exbury Gardens is a large informal woodland garden on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire, world-famous for the Rothschild collection of rhododendrons and azaleas amassed by Lionel de Rothschild from 1919. Among its trees are Victorian-era giant sequoias — some surviving from the earlier Mitford ownership — alongside coast redwood and dawn redwood. Entry is ticketed.
